Insurance and Payments

All the years working as an associate dentist, Dr. Cadavid saw day-by-day how insurance companies dictated the treatment needs for the patients. It was like having a “big brother” watching over and telling the doctor what to do, even sometimes knowing it wasn’t the right thing for the patient. The current dental insurance model limits both the patient and the provider, and in many instances, quality care is compromised, whether the patient realizes it or not.

This always felt wrong and uncomfortable to Dr. Cadavid, so once she opened Aloe Dental Wellness, she decided she no longer wanted to be restricted as an insurance provider. Therefore, she is an out of network provider. 

Dr. Cadavid and her team are strongly dedicated to a higher standard of care which includes: advance training and education, access to modern materials and technology, and higher standards for our dental labs. Sadly, most dental insurances are not in line with this quality of care. The decision to not be in network for any dental insurance is an integrity decision. We can’t ethically treat our patients with a lower quality of care, and we believe our patients deserve exceptional dentistry.

Nonetheless, for our patients that come to us for superior care, but still have dental insurance, we will happily provide a detailed Superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

We are proud and excited to offer an in-house membership plan that will help patients to receive the same high quality of care without having to deal with waiting periods, claims, surprises fees, or the questionable hustles of the insurance companies and associated dental providers.
